What are the entry and stay requirements to travel to Tajikistan ?

Administrative formalities for French citizens:

• original signed passport valid for at least 6 months after the date of entry into the country

• visa required for any stay less than 30 days

• Applications are made on the website www.visa.gov.tj for visas issued on arrival and on www.evisa.tj for electronic visas (sites in English).

• Authorization to visit the Pamir: travelers who wish to visit the Pamir must necessarily request, when applying for a visa, permission to travel to the GBAO (autonomous region of Upper Badakhshan). This authorization will be noted specially on the visa
