What is the climate in Patagonia and when to go to make the most of the country?

The steppes of Patagonia, swept by winds, offer some of the most beautiful views in all of Argentina and Chile. In summer, from late November to early March, it is the ideal time to visit this fairy-tale region despite the presence of strong gusts. Since it is located in a remote corner of the world, even the high season does not involve significant tourist traffic, and hiking trails are more accessible during this period. However, do not generalize: autumn (late March) and spring (October-November) are good alternatives to the summer months, generally with less wind but cooler temperatures than summer.
