What are the entry and stay requirements to travel to Albania ?

To travel to Albania, French citizens must have a national identity card or a passport valid for 90 days after the return date. It is recommended to have a passport with a sufficient number of blank pages, usually three. In case of emergency, an emergency passport can be requested, but it is important to verify whether it is accepted by the destination country and whether it requires a visa.

What are the health requirements to travel to Albania ?

In Albania, no vaccine is mandatory. However, it is recommended to be vaccinated against diphtheria, tetanus, polio, hepatitis A and B, as well as whooping cough, due to its resurgence among adults. Given the challenging sanitary conditions, it is also advisable to be vaccinated against typhoid and rabies, the latter being on the rise because of the presence of foxes and dogs.
