What are the health requirements to travel to Sri Lanka ?

No vaccination is mandatory but some are recommended. Before leaving, make sure you are up to date with your vaccinations. Ask your general practitioner for advice.

Recommended vaccinations:

• update of diphtheria-tetanus-poliomyelitis (DTP) vaccination

• MMR (measles-mumps-rubella) in children

• tuberculosis

• meningitis

• typhoid fever

• viral hepatitis A and B

• against rabies
