South Korea's historical appeal began in the 9th century, when Arab traders discovered it as a land rich in gold called Silla. They were captivated by the country and tended to settle there. For today's visitors, South Korea offers a soothing atmosphere, encouraging exploration of sites such as Seokguram Grotto and Bulguksa Temple, the ramparts of Hwaseong Fortress, and the Confucian Jongmyo Shrine in the heart of bustling Seoul. Another facet of the Land of Morning Calm (which is not so calm anymore!) is the global impact of Korean culture, particularly K-pop and K-dramas, which have sparked keen interest among Western youth. This trend, known as "hallyu," has generated enthusiasm for various aspects of Korean culture such as music, comics, movies, TV series, and cuisine (especially kimchi). Every year, millions of tourists visit South Korea to follow in the footsteps of their heroes or favorite TV series, exploring places such as Seoul, Wolmido Island in Incheon, Pocheon Art Valley, Jumunjin Beach, Daepohang Lighthouse in Sokcho, and the colorful suburbs of Busan.

Whether they are native South Koreans or French speakers living in the country, our guides use their up-to-date knowledge of the country and extensive local network to respond to your requests from the moment you first contact them and throughout your trip.
