What is the climate at Honduras and when to go to make the most of the country?

Honduras has a tropical climate, with variations depending on elevation and region.

Coastal areas, particularly around the Islas de la Bahía and the Caribbean Sea, enjoy a warm and humid climate year-round, making them ideal for enjoying the beaches and diving. The inland and mountainous regions around Tegucigalpa have more moderate temperatures.

The dry season, from November to April, is generally the best time to travel. The rainy season, from May to October, brings more frequent showers, but also particularly lush vegetation.
