What is the climate at Guinea-Bissau and when to go to make the most of the country?

Guinea-Bissau has a tropical climate with two main seasons: a dry season and a rainy season.

The dry season, from November to May, is the ideal time to travel, with warm but more bearable temperatures and little rainfall. It’s also the best time to explore the Bijagos Archipelago and enjoy the beaches.

The rainy season, from June to October, brings heavy rainfall and high humidity, making travel more difficult in some areas. However, the natural landscape is particularly lush and spectacular.
