What is the climate in Burma and when to go to make the most of the country?

Secretive and authentic, Myanmar is one of Southeast Asia's must-see countries. It has a tropical climate. The best time to visit is during the winter season, which lasts from November to February. Its landscapes and cities—Mandalay, Inle Lake, Bagan, Yangon—are still shrouded in mystery, untouched by Western influence. It can get very crowded during the winter season, so consider visiting during the rainy season, especially if you plan to travel to and around Mandalay and Bagan. Temperatures can rise above 30°C without being particularly stifling in the central regions in March, April, and May.
