What are the entry and stay requirements to travel to Bhutan ?

Administrative formalities for French nationals:

Original signed passport valid for at least 6 months after the date of entry into the country
Visa required, to be obtained through an authorized agency. The Bhutanese Department of Tourism does not issue visas directly.

No vaccinations are mandatory, but some are recommended. Before leaving, make sure your vaccinations are up to date. Ask your doctor for advice.

Recommended vaccinations:

Rabies (Bhutan has many stray dogs).
Japanese encephalitis
Typhoid fever and viral hepatitis A and B
Update on diphtheria-tetanus-polio (DTP), including rubella, mumps, and measles in children.
Tuberculosis vaccination
