What is the climate in Algeria and when to go to make the most of the country?

Algeria has sometimes been compared to California because of its climate conditions; northern Algeria is hot and dry in summer, while in winter it is mild and humid. All of this to the great delight of travelers and tourists. In the south of the country lies the Saharan region, where the climate is desertic and arid with temperature variations ranging from 45 °C during the day to 5 °C at night. We recommend undertaking a desert trek in winter!
