Last September my partner and i had the absolute trip of a lifetime with Jack. Ive been trying (and failing) to put into words how mind-blowing it really was. We really wanted to experience Botswana as naturally as possible, we didn’t want to see an abundance of wildlife in game reserves, we wanted to be rewarded for our efforts of hours of searching the animals out in their natural environment, and rewarded we were. Jack is at home in the bush and can sniff and sight out any animal if its there, we were bagging the sightings where others were failing and had the most fun doing it, so many good times filled with laughter. Jack has a great sense of humour. We were absolutely blown away with our trip and we LOVED camping in the bush! If anyone is worried about comfort/warmth or running water/showers....don’t be. Jack ensures you feel completely at home. The English in us were slightly un-nerved at booking with jack via an agent initially, with it not being your usual big names like “trail finders” etc but Jacks agent Donatella was brilliant! We were kept updated throughout and she promptly answered all of our questions. If you want a trip with the masses in game reserves this isn’t for you, if you want to see the animals in their natural environment with a guide who is passionate and respectful toward them then what are you waiting for?? When we left Jack we felt bereft and missed him masses. He made our holiday one we will never ever forget and we definitely be back!

We had the most amazing safari with Jack. To be honest I couldn’t have hoped for better. From the moment we were collected from Maun airport we felt safe and well looked after. Jack showed us some truly amazing places, sights and animals in his beautiful home country. We were well fed, comfortable and Jack went above and beyond expectations to make our trip so memorable. Jacks passion, knowledge and experience shone through repeatedly meaning he knew where to find elusive creatures and could for example spot a cheetah at 300m with his naked eye!!! In addition Jack and our cook were great company and we shared so much laughter amongst the beauty. I hope we will be back for another adventure Jack,

We have been traveling with Jack for many years now. And all we can say is: "PUMBA" is the best. His safaris are always exciting and new and.... as he takes really care of everything, we always felt safe in every minute. His knowlegde and his attitude and his respect for nature and his sensitive character (towards nature and his guests) made us always feel more than comfortable. Be prepared to experience the once in a life time trip and be prepared to get "Africa-sick" and really feel like I don't want to leave this wonderful place - and remember- Jack and Planet Safari are always ready to take you back there!

Returning to Botswana, I booked a 7 night trip with Jack to see a new part of this beautiful country. Jack mapped out the most amazing route and we had a great week together traveling from Maun to Kwai, through the Mababe Depression to Chobe. Heading back to Maun, we stopped in Elephant Sands close to Nata for a unique experience with elephants in all directions; day and night. The animals we encountered (in bucket loads!) includes elephants, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, buffaloes, eagles and antelopes such as red lechwe, sable antelope, impala and water buck. We were also extremely lucky to encounter majestic lions, elegant leopards and beautiful zebras. Jack knows so very much about the country and the wildlife. He always have interesting facts and also stories to tell and I would absolutely travel with Jack

Had the most amazing safari trip with planet safari in the beginning of June 2017. We went on a 9-day safari trip through Moremi, Khwai, Savute, Chobe and Vic Falls. It was an incredible safari, and we were so lucky with our sightings! In Moremi we got to see a cheetah and lions, and we had elephants in our campsite at third bridge. On the way to Khwai we saw a leopard and some wild dogs. In Khwai we saw elephants swimming in the river, and another leopard in the evening. On the way to Savute we saw more wild dogs, and in Savute we got to see lions roaring and mating in the morning. In Chobe we drove along the river and saw all kinds of animals, and on the last day in Chobe we saw a brown hyaena and a leopard with a cub. This has really been the safari trip of a lifetime! Jack is a fantastic field guide who really knows his way around the bush. He is also a very kind and service minded guide with a good sence of humor. His passion and knowledge about the African bush and all its wildlife is just amazing. Jack is very experienced when it comes to tracking the animals, and he knows the area very well. He will also tell you a lot of fun facts about the animals, not just the big ones, but the little creatures as well. He is a good driver, who always gives you enough time to take your perfect pictures. If you want to experience the African bush first hand, I strongly recommend booking your safari with Jack
