Jonias

Jonias is a local tour guide and driver who speaks English and Portuguese and accompanies travelers in Timor-Leste. With him, travelers feel like part of his family: he’s very knowledgeable and introduces them to the locals—and sometimes even his own family—making for a personal and warm travel experience. He shares his country’s culture and rich history—including the challenges of its liberation—through custom-designed tours: Dili, the Cristo Rei statue, Atauro Island, Mount Ramelau, Baucau, and traditional villages.
